Coated Calcium Carbonate Powder
Surface treated with stearic acid so it repels moisture and disperses well in polymers.
Overview
About this product
Coated calcium carbonate is ground calcium carbonate whose particle surfaces are treated with stearic acid. The coating makes the powder repel moisture and helps it mix evenly into polymers.
It is the usual choice for plastics, where untreated powder can clump and take up moisture. Mesh sizes follow the same scale as the uncoated range and are confirmed in the quotation.
